A working day as a picker at Oudijk Gerbera

Morning person with an eye for detail? Come pick gerberas at Oudijk Gerbera! Active work, nice colleagues and flowers all around you.

The working day as a picker starts early, around 6:30 a.m. you grab your gear and walk into the greenhouse to get to work harvesting the gerberas. The foreman will give you instructions and specific directions so you know exactly what to look out for. Each flower is picked with care. The work is nice and active – you are constantly moving among the flowers. It requires accuracy: you have to pay close attention to the maturity and quality of the gerberas. Together with your colleagues you make sure that the harvesting goes smoothly, smoothly and neatly.

Who are you?

  • You like to work with your hands
  • You are a morning person
  • Experience is nice, but not necessary. We will teach you everything!
